The German Wind Power Museum in Stemwede-Oppendorf was opened in 1998 and is unique in Germany. It shows the history and modern use of wind power. Run by an association, the collection comprises around 20 wind turbines from Germany and Europe, of which around 10 are open-air exhibits. The museum is not only the only one of its kind in Germany, but is also one of the largest collections of wind turbines in the world. An exciting place for anyone interested in renewable energies!
